This instructor-led training course is a classroom style, knowledge- based course .
Attendees will learn knowledge, and techniques required by tree workers to work safely around outside electrical hazards such as high-voltage power lines and related components. Electrical hardware and hazard identification, as well as mitigation techniques for managing risks associated with electrical hazards will be taught. Identification of different electrical safety standards and their requirements will be explained and discussed.
Credentials and Deliverables:
Successful completion of NATS Electrical Hazard Awareness Training Knowledge Test is required for participants to receive a NATS Certificate of Completion, otherwise a NATS Certificate
of Attendance will be provided if no testing is performed.
Attendance at this seminar qualifies the MIIA member for .5% credit under the FY 24 MIIA Rewards Workers Compensation category.
