Experience a variety of scenarios and conditions typical to emergency response situations with our driving simulator.

Simulator Training (Due to limited availability, members may only schedule every 2 1/2 years)
Who should participate: Emergency vehicle operators and DPW drivers.

1/ ½ hour classroom training with 30 minutes of actual hands-on simulator practice.

The MIIA simulator is a state-of-the-art driving simulator available to MIIA member communities which offers a safe environment for driver operators to experience a variety of scenarios and conditions typical to emergency response situations. The program consists of 1 ½ hours of classroom instruction with 1/2 hour per participant of hands-on practice in the simulator. There is also a module for use by Public Works Departments.
