The Practice of Mindfulness

Mindfulness, being fully present for whatever is happening in each moment, is being taught across the country as an antidote to our complex, jam-packed and often rushed days and lives. Over time, this way of living can leave people stressed, disconnected from fundamental values, and at growing risk of unwanted consequences to mental, emotional and physical health and wellbeing.

This session will provide an introduction to the benefits of mindfulness and an opportunity to experience various ways to cultivate mindfulness and equanimity, a state of calm and balance, even in the midst of stress and challenge. The program leader is a health and wellness consultant.

Wellness Tip: Cultivating mindfulness is the key to becoming unconditionally present, gaining awareness and decreasing stress.
