Yoga and Mindfulness for Stress  Reduction and Wellbeing

Mindfulness has been called the #1 Health Booster for 2015 by The Boston Globe and has been proven to actually change brain structure leading to greater physical and emotional health. Yoga is one way to cultivate mindfulness and a proven practice for reducing stress and increasing balance, flexibility, energy and strength. This 8-week program, led by a certified yoga or mindfulness instructor, will explore other mind/body practices including conscious breathing, guided relaxation, meditation and ways to work with negative thoughts and physical discomfort.


Wellness Tip: Mindfulness is recommended to help cope with anxiety and depression. It is an effective way to deal with stress.
